Making Your Decision

Now that you've considered your particular needs for a Bible translation and read brief descriptions of some that are available, it's time to start making your decision.

Reading about a particular translation is not the same thing as holding it, looking at it, and reading over a few of your favorite passages and chapters. Once you've begun to narrow your search, take some time to borrow your choices from a friend or from a church library. You might also browse through some of them at a local bookstore. You will find that most of these are available from Bibles.com. However you're able to do so, discover first hand what makes this translation work for you.
