Crisis Care / Disaster Response
Working with relief agencies, providing Scripture materials, including Bibles and New Testaments, to people affected by natural disasters or personal tragedy. Individuals, family, friends and caregivers can receive appropriate materials for loved ones.
Faith-Sharing Tools For Ministry Catalog
Free materials for ministries across the United States, including Scripture coloring books and games, bookmarks and tent cards for hospital trays and daily Bible reading guides in English or Spanish.
Elementz of Life is a positive, faith-based street-level publication of the American Bible Society. Targeted to young people who are involved in gangs, street life and high-risk behavior, the magazine weaves first-person stories, art, letters and poetry from inner-city youth into words of hope from the Scriptures.
The contributors share their own experiences, voice their pains, hopes, dreams and successes and expose the truth of street and prison life.
While not “sugar-coating” their own lives, the writers and artists describe — in the language of their generation — the life-changing power of a relationship with Christ.
The American Bible Society provides Elementz of Life to youth ministries, churches, juvenile facilities and special events to bring hope, healing and Scriptural solutions to inner-city and underserved communities.
Correctional Program
This program, working directly with official correctional chaplains, provides free Scriptures — complete Bibles as well as New Testaments in English and Spanish — to U.S.-based correctional facilities that do not have a Scripture purchasing budget.
The American Bible Society currently remains the only large Scripture distributor to grant Scriptures to both Protestant and Catholic correctional chaplains nationwide.
