Americans believe the nation is in moral decline, but they see hope for change in the pages of Scripture, according to the 2017 State of the Bible survey.

That’s just one of many insights in the report, which was commissioned by American Bible Society and conducted by the Barna Group. The State of the Bible, an annual survey which started in 2011, helps American Bible Society and its partners get a better understanding of Americans’ complex relationship with God’s Word.
