“We want to follow this Jesus who has healed our people.”
When the chief of a remote Muslim village in West Africa received an audio Bible in his heart language, a miraculous chain of events transpired. He recognized the words he heard in his heart language to be the truth and subsequently allowed the JESUS Film to be shown to his people. Nearly every villager turned to Jesus, and by December 2023, they had constructed a church so they could gather weekly to listen to the audio Bible.
The following Easter, they held a special service for people from other nearby Muslim villages to attend. Several visitors were miraculously healed during the service, including a woman who’d arrived on crutches. After she received prayer, she dropped her crutches, removed her hijab, and gave her life to Christ.
A chief from one of the visiting villages said, “We want to follow this Jesus who has healed our people.”
Now, there are 40 active audio Bible listening groups in eight villages in the area!
Old and young are coming to know Jesus and growing in their faith as they gather to listen to God’s Word in their heart language on the audio Bibles that you helped provide!
