Founded in 1816, American Bible Society has worked for over two centuries to share the life-changing message of the Bible with waiting hands and hearts around the world. This calling to help to fulfill the Great Commission also inspires the faithful prayer and generosity of our supporters. Together, we have helped bring the Bible to over 200 countries and territories so that all people might come to know Christ and grow in their faith. We celebrate the promise in Isaiah 55:11: “So also will be the word that I speak—it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do.”
