God’s Word for Every Waiting Hand and Heart
Not all people have access to God’s Word. Some don’t have the Bible available in their language, and some people live in regions of the world that are hostile to the Bible, while others live in remote places or are poverty stricken. Together we can change this. The Bible reveals God’s presence throughout history, his divine purpose for our lives, and his plan for our eternal salvation. Without the life-transforming power of the Bible, we are lost in the darkness of sin and cut off from the source of absolute truth. Through the Bible, God invites us into an abundant life marked by faith, hope, and everlasting joy. This is why Bible access is an urgent spiritual need for all people.
Through a generous community of donors, we make the Bible accessible by working to translate its sacred words into every living language and printing and distributing millions of Bibles across the world. Our compassionate donors also help us distribute the Bible with the aim of placing God’s Word into the hands and hearts of all people, so they may come to know Jesus as their Savior.
BIBLE ENGAGEMENT
Lives Transformed through Scripture
Bible engagement is more than just reading the Bible. Engaging with the Bible means studying it, memorizing it, meditating on it, praying through it, and striving to live out its life-giving message. Bible engagement makes us more generous, more empathetic, more loving toward our neighbors, and more hopeful about our future. Most importantly, engaging with God’s Word allows us to explore Christ’s gift of eternal salvation.
Our faithful community of givers helps people engage with the Bible by providing resources and experiences that help people encounter Jesus and live out the truths of Scripture. Our daily devotionals, prayer guides, Bible stories, and teachings are uniquely tailored to a diverse audience of seekers. These Bible resources are contextualized for everyone from U.S. Military members and veterans to people who cannot afford a Bible of their own and suffering people desperate to hear the Good News.
BIBLE ADVOCACY
Championing the Bible in America
We advocate for the Bible as the living Word of God and the source of absolute truth. This is why we work to elevate the Bible in public conversation and to demonstrate the relevance of God’s Word in our lives today. Bible advocacy means ensuring the Bible is present wherever culture is made and ideas are exchanged—in the news, in television and film, in music, in advertisements, on podcasts, in museums, in colleges and classrooms, and through social media.
Our community of donors and ministry partners worldwide champions the Bible’s unique role in shaping American history, values, and identity. We honor America’s heritage of faith and celebrate the men and women who, guided by the Word of God, founded our great nation on biblical ideals of liberty, freedom, and justice for all. We believe advocating for Scripture as a founding document of the United States and a guiding light to our founders can help Americans today consider how the Bible relates to their own spiritual journey. Ultimately, our advocacy work provides curious people an opportunity to reflect on Christ’s offer of salvation and the Bible’s power to transform our hearts.
Serving America’s Heroes
Brave men and women in our military serve in hostile regions around the world and continue to put their lives at risk daily. Military families and veterans sacrifice to protect our country too. Scripture can provide comfort and peace to carry them through the most difficult circumstances unique to serving in our military.
