Your prayers matter.
Jesus reminded his disciples of the impact of their prayers. He said, “And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son” (John 14:13 GNT).
We look back on over 200 years of Bible ministry and see the power of prayer. God has heard and answered our prayers by faithfully providing resources, inspiring innovations, opening partnerships, and, ultimately, transforming lives. Over the years, God has made ways for people to experience his love through the distribution of seven billion Bibles around the world.
When people pray, God moves. And we want to see a new move of God on behalf of those waiting for the Bible in 2022!
As we begin the new year, we cannot imagine a better way to unite in faith for miracles than engaging in a season of prayer together. So, we warmly invite you to join our American Bible Society staff community in a 30-day prayer challenge this January! To join this challenge, you’ll sign up to learn how to pray specifically for needs in the U.S. and around the world for 30 days.

- Pray every day until you’ve completed all 30 days
