Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold your peace, And do not be still, O God!
Psalm 83:1 NKJV
Despite crises in our lives and around the world, we can trust that God is in control and cares for us all.
We all experience crises in our own lives, from anxiety about money to stress in relationships. Sometimes, even watching the reports of violence, war and crime in the daily news can feel just as overwhelming as the difficulties we experience daily. Crises in the world often leave us feeling paralyzed and helpless.
What can we do to right these wrongs? How can we work toward bringing the love and peace of Christ to earth?
Scripture repeatedly reminds us that no matter what else we do, we can pray. Here are 5 prayers from the book of Psalms that can help get you started in praying regularly for people in crisis around the globe or next door.
