Does God care about my suffering?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by pain, sorrow, or discouragement, this question might be one that’s on your mind.
In order to know if God cares about our suffering, we first need to understand who God is. Scripture is our guide to God’s character, care, and compassion. Through his Word, God tell us about himself and gives us examples of his deep love for us. God also demonstrates how he keeps every promise he makes. Because of this, we can trust God to protect and save us, even in our deepest moments of suffering.
By exploring God’s Word, we can learn about the eternal hope God offers us through Jesus Christ, rest in God’s promises, and find hope in every season.
Learn more about God’s character and care for you in this five-day devotional guide!
