NEW BIBLE TRANSLATIONS FOR PEOPLE IN AFGHANISTAN —
In March, the first translation of the New Testament in Afghan Pashto was completed, in addition to a revised translation of the New Testament in Dari and portions of the Bible translated in Hazaragi. More than 40 different languages are spoken in Afghanistan, with Pashto and Dari being the most prolific. These three new translations will introduce generations of people to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Join us in praying for lives and eternities to be transformed in Afghanistan!
CABO VERDE INITIATIVE: THE GOSPEL IN EVERY HOME —
A special New Testament distribution project launched earlier this year in Cabo Verde with the goal of placing God’s Word in every home on the islands off the West African coast. Local churches and volunteers received supplementary training to make a powerful impact on their communities through Scripture, sharing the hope of the Gospel with as many people as possible.
