PRAY FOR STAFF IN DIFFICULT REGIONS:
Please remember to pray for Bible Society staff who work in difficult regions worldwide. The latest Open Doors’ World Watch List, which ranks the 50 most difficult placesto be a Christian, shows:
- More than 12 Christians are killed for their faith each day.
- 7,679 churches or public Christian properties were attacked or forced to close.
- 4,744 believers were arrested, imprisoned, detained without trial, or sentenced — just because of their faith.
- Nearly 55,000 believers were mentally or physically abused for their faith.
HISTORIC MILESTONE IN BRAZIL:
The Bible Society of Brazil (BSB) has printed 200 million Bibles and New Testaments in its 29 years. Executive director of BSB, Rev. Erní Seibert, says, “These are 200 million seeds that help transform lives, spreading across the world — a record-breaking achievement in human history.”
