BEEMBE PEOPLE RECEIVE FIRST BIBLE
In the Republic of Congo, the completion of the Kibeembe-language Bible means the nearly 100,000 Beembe people can now access God’s Word in their heart language. Though Christianity is the predominant religion in the country, services are typically conducted in French, hindering the comprehension and worship experience of non-French speakers. Dr. Christian Ntondele, General Secretary of the Bible Society of Congo, shares, “Now, Kibeembe speakers can fully understand the Bible and know the will of God for their lives.
