When Shahla* heard there was an audio Bible listening group near her home, she was eager to attend. Roughly 2% of South Asians are Christian, and obstacles like poverty, illiteracy, and persecution make it difficult to access God’s Word and the hope of the Gospel.

The generosity of partners like you is helping more people in this South Asian country come to faith in Jesus.

“Listening to the audio Bible brought comfort, guidance, and inspiration,” Shahla shares. “This has transformed my beliefs, attitudes, and behavior.”

Shahla also received a printed Bible in her Bengali heart language. She is extremely grateful to be able to read and listen to God’s Word at home. With a bright smile, she says, “Having my own Bible is an incredible experience! It deepens my understanding of my faith and has become a source of strength and hope in my life.”

Following Jesus in a predominantly Muslim country can be difficult and lonely. But Shahla adds, “The relationships built within the listening group create a network of support for all aspects of my life, offering a sense of community and belonging.”

Thank you for helping the people in South Asia receive the Bible in their heart language so they can know and find eternal life in Jesus.
