As extremists continue to persecute Middle Eastern Christians, it is more important than ever that we provide them with the Good News of the Gospel. Children especially need this message of hope as they struggle through displacement and war, with little hope of a normal life.
That’s why the Bible Society brought Scriptures focusing on the hopeful messages of Christmas and Easter to children in one area of the Middle East. Thanks to American Bible Society friends like you, young ones in the Middle East will be encouraged by these Scriptures and have the chance to know our Lord.
Like 9-year-old Nabil*, who lives in a small village. “I am still reading my Christmas book you gave me. I’m hoping for an Easter book too.”
And Haya*, who helped the Bible Society pass out Scripture portions last year. “I am so happy to have my own Scripture gift this Easter!” she says. “Thank you for the interesting stories about Jesus and His resurrection. Now I will read the Word of God every day.”
