The Eastern Cham people, a minority ethnic group in Vietnam, are predominantly Hindu. However, many Cham Christians have prayed fervently to have a Bible in their heart language. Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, those prayers were answered last year! Pastor Binasour*, delighted to receive one of the first Cham New Testaments, declared, “Now, Cham believers can grow in their Christian faith and confidently share the Gospel with their neighbors.”
Quang* is part of the Stieng people group, about 90,000 strong in southeastern Vietnam. When he received one of the very first Stieng Bulo New Testaments last year, he shared, “Holding this New Testament in my hands is an indescribable feeling. It’s like holding a treasure that speaks directly to my heart and soul. This is a moment of pure joy for me and my community.”
The impact of your support is apparent in the lives and eternities that are being transformed through God’s Word. For Hoa*, an elderly woman of the Tay people group in Vietnam, the new Tay Bible translation arrived just in time. Hoa’s daughter read Scripture to her daily from her new Tay Bible, leading Hoa and her entire family to accept Jesus. Knowing her time on Earth was ending, Hoa told her family, “I’m not afraid to die. I know where I’m going.” Soon after, she passed into the arms of her Savior.
Your generosity helps translate and distribute God’s Word for people of many tribes and tongues! Thank you for your faithfulness in helping share God’s Word with people all over the world in their heart languages so they can experience the hope of salvation through Jesus!
