On February 8, American Bible Society and Biblical Seminary hosted “Under My Skin,” an evening of discussion about race and the church. Coinciding with Black History Month, “Under My Skin” provided church and community leaders with a safe space to dialogue about the Bible’s vision for unity among Christians of all ethnic backgrounds.
“‘Under My Skin’ did more than just raise awareness,” says Senior Manager of National Movements Arthur Satterwhite. “It helped participants become the agents of reconciliation that God calls us to be in the Scriptures.” American Bible Society plans to host more community dialogues like “Under My Skin” in the months ahead.
