Children growing up in military families face different challenges than children in civilian families. Frequent relocations, new schools, leaving friends behind, and missing their deployed parent can contribute to stress and uncertainty in their lives.
Thanks to caring friends like you, our military children can receive special Scripture resources each month from Hero Squad, a unique ministry for military families. Families receive age-specific Bibles for each child and one for their parents, as well as devotionals relevant to military culture, and more.
Kathy, a Navy mom, shares, “My girls were blown away and so excited to dig into God’s Word. I love that the devotionals talk about military life stuff like frequent relocations and daddy being away.” And Nancy, whose husband serves in the Air Force, shares, “We can see the relationship our two kids have developed with Jesus through their participation in Hero Squad.”
