After more than two years of war, most of the buildings surrounding Liliya’s* apartment complex in Kharkiv, Ukraine, have been damaged or destroyed by Russian artillery fire. At 67 years old, Liliya’s faith in God is strong, and she is thankful that her home is still standing.

In the years since Russia’s full-scale invasion began, the people of Ukraine have faced terrible darkness every day. They are exhausted, and many are struggling with pain, uncertainty, anger, despair, and hopelessness.

Thanks to help of partners like you, the people of Ukraine are finding the hope, courage, and peace they desperately need through God’s Word.

Liliya recently attended a local Bible Society event and noticed The Message of Hope large-print Ukrainian Bibles displayed on a table. As she picked up one of the Bibles and held it close to her heart, she said, “Thank God for this treasure you brought for us! I prayed so much that there would be more Bibles in large print for my friends.”

Since the war began, Liliya has been actively helping Ukrainian soldiers, assisting at the local hospital, and evangelizing. She shares the Word of God with everyone she encounters and is so grateful to have access to large-print Bibles to share.

Thank you for your continued support to help make more Bibles and life-saving aid available to the suffering people of Ukraine.
