Kamari* is a 38-year-old father of four. He and his family live in a remote region of West Africa where Bibles are very scarce, and illiteracy and poverty hinder people from receiving the hope of the Gospel.
But thanks to the generosity of friends like you, audio Bibles are becoming available to local pastors who can host listening groups and travel to share the devices with families in remote villages, like Kamari’s family.
When Kamari received the audio Bible in his Hausa heart language, he and his family began listening right away.
“We have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior,” Kamari shares. “Since we started listening to the audio Scriptures, we have learned so much about what following Jesus means and what kinds of things we should and should not do. We have left behind a number of our former customs that do not honor God.”
He continues, “My family’s life has changed a lot, especially in the domain of prayer and how we love other people, including those who are not Christians. The Word teaches us to love them, despite the threats and persecution we face.”
Thank you for making the life-transforming Word of God available to people in West Africa and all over the world who are eager to learn about Jesus!
