Anitha’s dream became a reality, thanks to you!
“It’s not easy to have a Bible in our village because they are too expensive,” Anitha* shares while holding her youngest child and her new Kirundi Bible.
Anitha lives in East Africa, in one of the poorest countries in the world. Until recently, her only access to God’s Word was hearing it preached during prayer meetings.
Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, the local Bible Society’s End-to-End outreach launched an audio Bible listening group in her village. Anitha was thrilled to join, and before long, she was presented with a Bible of her own, in her heart language. “It’s a miracle to have a Bible,” she shares. “I prayed for it a long time. Now, I can gather my children and read to them.”
