When Nancy Moore Simpson moved from Tennessee to New York City to pursue a singing career, she didn’t expect her future to be shaped by generosity as much as music. Her journey led her to American Bible Society in 1992, where she discovered her love for nonprofit work.

“It spurred me into learning about fundraising, how nonprofits run, and how they support the wonderful mission they have in mind to do,” she remembers. “I was so excited to be working there. It was an inspiring and hopeful place to be.”

When it was time for Nancy and her husband, Bill, to revisit their retirement plan, Nancy discovered the power of charitable gift annuities.
