When Mr. Horner Chen was 31, China—his home country—went communist. His brother, a minister, was pushed into a bonfire while clutching his cherished Bible. This drove Mr. Chen to leave China to create a new family and a new life where he could continue to walk freely with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Today, Mr. Chen lives in Houston, Texas. Seeking to store his treasure in heaven, he has established multiple American Bible Society Gift Annuities. Now, he receives secure income for life, along with the joy of knowing he is supporting American Bible Society’s mission, now and forever.
