Light and darkness cannot occupy the same space and time. When light is present, darkness is conquered, annihilated, vanquished.
In Scripture, Jesus declares himself to be the light of the world (John 8:12). When Jesus is present, all darkness must flee. Jesus is the answer for the darkness we see in our world today.
