In October 2016, Christian leaders from around the world gathered in New York City for Movement Day, an annual conference hosted by The New York City Leadership Center that focuses on transforming urban communities through collaboration and God’s Word. This year, attendees took home a 28-day devotional through the book of Acts from American Bible Society.

“In Acts, we see a new community, where every life was important and even the most marginalized of people could find hope for a new future,” says American Bible Society’s New York City Mobilizer Enid Almanzar. With support from American Bible Society’s financial partners, a vast network of Christian leaders is pursuing this biblical vision in New York City and around the world.
