Bible Reading Group

This daily Bible reading group in Kigali, Rwanda, is led by Jean Damascene Ruzigana (standing, in the white shirt).

Jean Damascene Ruzigana, a subscriber to American Bible Society's Daily Bible Reading Guide, sent the following encouraging e-mail in July to Record magazine: “Nowadays we are so happy, and we continue our Bible reading as [a] group; we meet [for a] few minutes every day for discussing [the] Word of God. Starting on the daily passages given by American Bible through the Internet, we take a moment for praying on our needs and the work of God in general. The bigger meetings are organized on Saturdays and Sundays after church services where we invite visitors to join us.

“Recently, we prayed for one of our club members who was suffering [from] depression, but now God healed him, and he returned to class (he is a student in university); last semester, he succeeded thoroughly, praise the Lord! Thank you so much and God bless you; we shall be praying.”
