When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the country to go into lockdown, many visually impaired people were left wondering how they would get basic necessities, including food.
Recognizing this great need, the Bible Society teamed up with the People with Visual Disability Project to support their blind communities. In addition to distributing God’s Word, blind people in the Mayuge District also received critical food care packages that will help them have full stomachs during this difficult time.
We are so thankful to our generous partners for the continued support for the blind community and their needs during the pandemic. These faithful gifts are bringing hope to those who desperately need it.
May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit. – Romans 15:13 GNT
