For children of expatriates who now call the countries surrounding Saudi Arabia their home, finding Christianity in the heart of Islam can be daunting. In fact, many of these children struggle with their Christian identity and need help learning the value of God's Word in their lives.
The Bible Society in the Gulf, along with the Grain of Wheat Foundation, is reaching out to these children with a program called Just for Kids. In this Scripture-meets-the-arts project, children learn about the Bible through puppets, sketches and songs. The shows are geared for 3-to-12 year-olds, yet attract parents who need help nurturing their children in the Christian faith. Scriptures are also distributed at the shows so children can read God's Word at home and learn to walk in his ways.
