Over 2,000 years ago, your best gift was delivered.

God sent his Son down to earth. God with us. Hope in human form. Heaven revealed.

Jesus Christ.

Through the testimonies found in Scripture, we can visualize Jesus’s humble beginnings in Bethlehem. We can watch his life’s ministry unfold. We can mourn at the foot of the cross as we remember his sacrificial death. We can jump for joy over his triumphant resurrection.

The Son of God tells us why receiving him is worth celebrating this Christmas.

Jesus brings life.

“I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness.”

John 10:10b

Jesus truly satisfies.

“But those who drink the water that I will give them will never be thirsty again.”

John 14:4a (GNT)

Jesus gives peace.

“I have told you this so that you will have peace by being united to me.”

John 16:33a (GNT)

Jesus is the way to God.

“‘I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.”
John 14:6 (GNT)

Jesus promises to be with us forever.

“And I will be with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:20b (GNT)

Jesus is a gift unlike any other. He never fades, never wavers, never changes.

He’s absolutely perfect. And in him, we have life. Satisfaction. Peace. Truth. Love.

Since God’s precious gift of life has been delivered to you, will you cherish Jesus and receive everything he has to offer you this Christmas?

Let’s Pray

Father, thank you for sending us your Son and communicating your love for us through his life on earth. This Christmas, help us to truly understand and receive the gift of Jesus. Let our lives reflect his presence and shine his light so that others can receive him, too.
