Intently peeking over my shoulder, the woman seated next to me on the train asked, “Excuse me, what are you reading?”
“The Bible,” I responded. Curious to learn more, she began a conversation. Our 20-minute train ride revealed she had never read the Bible. It also revealed the deep life questions she had, a longing for answers, and an uncertainty about where to turn.

The latest State of the Bible research shows that although Americans have mixed feelings about the Bible and Jesus, 73% are curious and want to know more.
