This month, ABC Television affiliates began airing a documentary called Hope Rising: Stories of Trauma and Healing, a true account of restored lives in survivors of severe trauma. Follow their stories as these incredible individuals participate in an American Bible Society trauma healing program and encounter the Good News of the Bible.
As one viewer told us, the film “shows there is hope where many people just give up.” It shows God’s healing power as people’s lives are changed and communities put on the path to restoration in the war zones of eastern Congo—and in urban settings in the eastern United States.
