This year, American Bible Society celebrates 200 years of ministering to the U.S. military with God’s Word. In 1817, American Bible Society presented 65 Bibles to sailors aboard the U.S.S. John Adams, launching a ministry that has since delivered nearly 60 million Bibles and Scripture resources to military members and their families.
Today, American Bible Society equips the comprehensive military family through Bible engagement resources for troops, teenagers, military wives and veterans. Thanks to the support of faithful financial partners, these resources have strengthened U.S. military.
